Information Overload: When is Enough Ever Enough?

Our insatiable quest for more and more information has led to an unprecedented information tsunami. We are swamped with facts, figures, data, models, theories, books, videos, magazines, courses and workshops. Yes, acquiring information is the critical first step in the learning process, but it is just the first step. By acquiring more and more information we mistakenly believe we are learning, but at best all we are really doing is accumulating more and more "first steps". This leads to a false sense of knowing:

Information is "in formation" - not yet formed. What has to happen for information to result in learning? Bruce explores this missing link in education and management in a delightful, challenging and playful way, so letting go feels like coming home.

Dr Bruce Copley is a former University Professor who now travels the world inspiring thousands of people to rediscover their lost love of learning. A real-life version of the teacher in "Dead Poets Society", Bruce creates unforgettable learning experiences for people ranging from pre-schoolers to senior citizens using a remarkable array of skills and talents. He brings a fresh and profound approach to Holism grounded in his own awakening awareness and fuelled by a passion to rekindle in others the freedom and fullness that is their innate birthright. Bruce is credited with catalyzing significant changes in major South African organisations such as Eskom, Sun International, ABSA, Old Mutual, SA Defence Force and Nedbank.
