Storytelling

Storytelling is a universal form of communication, which engages people, is informative and very inspirational. In contrast to conventional lectures and workshops, storytelling is an enlivening process, which harnesses the energy of people towards constructive change and development.

Storytelling is being increasingly applied in organisations to achieve objectives ranging from change and transformation to emotional intelligence. It is difficult to think of any aspect of organisational life that is not enriched through storytelling.

The learningshops are particularly appealing to people in organisations who recognise that humanising the workplace is important. Previous participants have included business leaders, corporate managers, trainers, lecturers and facilitators, marketers, actors, lawyers, medical specialists and accountants. Previous experience using storytelling in organisations is not a pre-requisite for attendance. The only requirement is an enquiring mind, an open heart and willing body.

The learningshop provides spontaneous storytelling skills, applications in organisations, leadership tools and an introduction to myths, legends and tales.
